i love that piece! i played it in a chamber orchestra
last summer. it's such a humorous group of
movements-such imagery! i wasn't the cuckoo--i opted
for the poules et coqs--chickens.
and by the way, i'm knew to the list--so i'll give a
brief intro. my name's elise, i've been playing
clarinet for roughly 4 years, i'm a high schooler and
i live on long island--and i'm playing the Weber
Concerto No. 2 right now in lessons (though i love the
Grand Duo Concertant-it's great.) and yes, you buffet
buffs-grenadilla as in the ebony african wood my
clarinet is made out of.
