De Peyer's recording with Maag IS available on CD. Quite inexpensive this time
too. It has recently been reissued in a Decca Double (2 CDs for the price of
one). The couplings included are the 4 Mozart Horn Concertos (Tuckwell), 1st
Flute Concerto in G (Bennett), Bassoon Concerto (McGill), and the Oboe Concerto
(Mack). Despite what the others say about the De Peyer recording here on the
list, I feel that the bassoon concerto is the best played, most fresh of these
concertos. A definite must if you want a collection of Mozart's wind concertos.
