Subj: [kl] Hovaness and Mozart Concerto

I just finished playing Hovaness's "Lament" for Clarinet alone, publ. by
Peters. It is short, not hard technically and has a few glissandi, to
increase the sadness. My glissandi went very sadly today.

I have a tape of a wonderful performance ot the Mozart Concerto by the
superbly artistic Swiss clarinetist, Hans Rudolph Stalder. He recorded this
in the late 1960's on bassett clarinet. This performance is at least as good
as that by Marcellus. If you would like a copy, let me know and I'll see what
I can do for you.
