There is a nice arrangement for clarinet and strings with rhythm section
of "Birth of the Blues" arranged by Calvin Custer. This is quite short
(3 minutes) and certainly not to be used as a centerpiece. But it would
go well in a grouping of short jazzy solos. The string parts are very
easy. The clarinet part is as hard as you want to make it, if you
improvise. If you don't everything is written out. I played it on a
'pops' concert and got very favorable audience response.

The Artie Shaw concerto is great, too. The string parts were originally
written for really just three violin players, and you'll need to somehow
come up with viola and cello parts. But the audience response to this
work has been nothing short of wild.

Purchase price for a complete set is $40 from a place like Lucks Music.
