Symphony 6 for Band by Persichetti is not like Pagaent at all, nor is it
like Psalm for Band, nor is it like most of his other works for this
medium. It is, in my opinion, a carefully constructed, ingenious
masterpiece for a symphony band. It's also a lot of fun to play.

I hope if you have not heard this piece, you find a good recording - U.
Illinois with Hindsley, U. Michigan with Revelli are excellent.
