Does your tech. know of anyone in U.K. who does similar treatments? I have a
pair of 40 year old Leblanc LL`s which are mildly out of tune to say the
least. The bores could certainly benefit, (could not they?), as I think they
have warped.
If he has any other suggestions or ideas (other than throwing them in the
River Thames) to rectify tuning in old instruments, I would be very grateful
to hear them. My local dealer suggested sending them back to Leblanc
near Paris, but I fear that they would only be interested in selling me a
new pair, and not any renewal work.
Advice would also be very welcome from other klarinettists`.
