It is my understanding that the #5's are the only size not
subdivided and are all labelled with the letter "R". I don't have
the guts (or the chops, more appropriately) to ask if they had a
"harder" 5 - my boxes all have the "R" lettering and I've never
specified that they be that. (If I've ordered other strengths for
friends, I have been asked which subdivision they wanted; but I've
never been asked about the #5).
