I have to say I wouldn't buy clarinets from anyone else other than
International musical suppliers. Lisa Arguris runs one heck of a clarinet
store She Sells everything, and gets great stock!! I spent a weekend 2 years
ago, at her store trying dozens of Buffets, R-13's, greenlines, prestige's.
It was a lot of fun, and all the horns played. It was hard to pick. While I
was still in the Field Band, Defending the constitution against all enemies
foreign and domestic, Lisa was able to send us some really great clarinets to
pick from, not an easy thing to do using the army supply system. Over the
years I have purchased a "marriage jeopardizing" amount of Clarinets from
International musical suppliers. If that new Buffet basset horn plays half as
nice as my new bass I might have to test my marriage again!
