I have experienced the woven ligs to work best for me. I have a Rovner (old)
on my bass and on my Bb soprano and they work fine. I've recently switched
to a True-Blo on my Eb soprano and seems to work better than the metal kind.
My suggestion is to stick with the woven ligs.
