I have returned from a non-list hiatus -- went out of town on biz for a
while, and couldn't deal with the pile up. I hope I didn't miss anything
*too* controversial.

. . . now for the shameless self-promotion. If any of you happen to be in
the Seattle area on Sunday -- and like wind ensembles -- stop on by to the
Kirkland Performing Arts Center at 3:00 to hear the Washington Wind
Symphony! Amongst other light springtime fare, we'll be playing Jack
Stamp's "Pastime," Frank Ticheli's "Blue Shades" and Gershwin's "Rhapsody in
Blue." We're planning to have a ton of fun!
