Actually, on the bass, I still like the ligature I made out of elastic
and velcro best, although I also have a regular Rovner on both my bass
and soprano.

Hmmmphh!! Next thing we know, you'll just be wrapping some string
around the mouthpiece and calling it a 'ligature'! This will never do.
Somebody should report Marcia to the Ligature Police.
