I sent Mark the picture I have, it's not the best quality. It was fax by
Dan Leeson to Cary Karp who scanned it and put it up onto the web. It was
posted to this list - or its predecessor - back in October 1994. I bet Dan
still has the original.

Dan later sent an article (split up into six postings!) by Pamela Poulin on
Stadler from the Mozart Jahrbuch of 1991. She discovered the picture of the
clarinet in the archives in Vilnius. I would guess it is the picture
currently out on sneezy.org.

The instrument was a remake by the clarinetist Erich Hoeprich that he played
around in October 1994 in the Mozart Quintet in Boston.

I have tons of emails saved on this in my mailbox! Dan if you want I can
resent a lot of it to spare you some typing :)
