Glenn,

I, for one, am gratified to hear that his performance was well done. (and
not rare...sorry, couldn't resist) There are many people, well known and
obscure, whose playing is temperamental, and whose performances range from
sublime to just awful. There are many reasons for this, and I wouldn't mind
reading more on why individuals can be so inconsistent. For me, anyway, it
is one of the interesting points of performance.
