Actually, what would be rather good would be to use one of those
computer search techniques, programmed to look for specific sorts of
'third', and '3' usage, and apply it to several Mozart concertos.

As I said before, pretty clearly thirds are going to be strongly
implicated in any classical work, and threefold repetition too.
(Remember Bernstein's "ready, steady, go!" principle.)

What we really need is to see whether the frequency of occurrence of
thematic thirds, coupled with other sorts of 3-ness, is significantly
higher in K622 than in other concertos by Mozart.

It does look that way to me; but appearances are sometimes deceptive.
