I'm guessing that you are talking about the Flavoreeds. I don't know about
the color but the flavor leaches out after just a few playings. Also they
are a very low quality reed. My daughter had only been playing a couple of
months when I let her try one. Even she could tell after that short a time
that they did not play as nicely as her normal Mitchell Luries. In quality,
they are about like the plain, el cheapo, orange box Ricos.
