For those who were asking, "Who is Pat Metheny?": He's a guitarist with many
very popular recordings. I'd say his music floats somewhere between jazz and
"new age". I thought his outburst was intolerant and bitter.

Amen to that. That inability is also leading to a great over-emphasis on
recordings. I can't understand why people want to listen to the same performance
over and over, and miss out on the excitement of a real live performance where
"another human being is pouring his <heart> out for me".
