What is real talent and what isn't is just opinion. Music should be made for
the sake of making music. It's a personal thing that just happens to get
shared with people who's ears find it tasteful and to their liking.

You know the saying "Opinions are like _ssholes." "We all have them and they
all stink"

You can't please everyone. Everyone thinks that their family is normal and
everyone else's isn't, etc.

There are circles of people who like the way you play, interpret, etc. There
are circles of people who don't. So you make the money from the people that
do. There are millions of circles in this world.

Doesn't everyone play music because it is a form of their identity? Does
everyone stay true to themselves? Or are their people practicing out their
who try to become someone else?
Do they think "If so and so likes the way I play," that's all that matters?"

So and so may have strong opinions but be an idiot of a person. I know a few
of those! I just steer clear of them. Mr. "So and So" also has a fan club,
different strokes for different folks. Just not my cup of tea.

Didn't someone on this list suggest that opinions stay off it anyway. It's a
nowhere road because everyone's is different and in the scheme of things
insignificant.

I promise I'll say no more on the subject. If you've read this far. Thanks.
