I have no desire to see artists stop recording;but how many Beethoven
Fifths or Mozart Clarinet Concertos (1 work - many recordings, not many
works) do we need on the market at one time. The recording companies go
with proven works till we are sick of them but the remaining 2/3 of the
ouvre are ignored.
