Subj: [kl] Series 9 and L7---a boring question
Date: Fri, 9 Jun 2000 15:57:45 -0400

Hola,

Does anyone have knowledge of the LH-joint bore style of the Selmer Series =
9 (not the Series 9 Star) and how it compares to the bore style used by =
Leblanc in their L7 (and similar) instruments? What I'm trying to do is =
compare the two instruments. My impression is the Selmer was a reverse =
cone used in most Selmers up to that point. But what was used in the =
Leblancs around the time of the "L" series instruments? The reason I ask =
is because I find a strong similarity in playing characteristics.=20
Thanks,
Bill Fogle
