Ping Pong
Divide the class into two teams. They should sit directly across and facing
each other. One side will always play concert pitch c and the other side g.
Start at one end on one side and that person plays his note, then the person
directly across plays his note, then the next person on the other side zig
zagging back and forth. As soon as the last end person has played, the first
person plays again. Every time someone plays out of turn or doesn't play
when supposed to, the other team gets a point. Each round can be started by
any of the 4 end people so each person has to really pay attention when he
should play. My beginning band loves this game. I hope I was able to
describe it well enough.
