Thank you to all that answered! I wonder why I never heard about the
Patricola instrument before, which was mentioned to me several times in
private mails.
I talked to Buffet yesterday and they confirmed the new Prestige
Eb-instrument, but did have to tell me that it wouldn't be ready until late
Summer (August/September). I should call again in a few months.
Now, I rather wait and choose an Instrument later, than to rush things and
always regret that I didn't wait. I'm already playing Buffet for Bb/A, thus
I would certainly want to try this new instrument.
I will be able to play the Perpetuum mobile on the Bb clarinet. It will not
be as much fun, though and it is supposed to be a 'musikalischer Scherz'
after all.
Would anyone know a clarinetist in London - or close - that I could borrow
an Eb from around the July 12th? Or would anyone know a shop where I could
rent an instrument in/around London? (I will check Dawkes, Tony W., Howarth
don't do rentals, not for Efers anyway) I can understand anyone that would
not want to part with his instrument. If Pizza is the currency here, I'd be
happy to send a pizza to anyone who can give me a hint :)
cheers - Moritz
