From: "Michael Bryant" <michael@-----.uk> Subj: [kl] Mozart K581a Date: Thu, 1 Jun 2000 21:00:05 -0400
Tony Pay asked
"Do you know who completed it for these recordings, Mike?"
[Sorry I missed all that. I had to go and play a Schumann Symphony
Too many notes and too few rests]
Now some answers:
All the Emergo CD recordings are of Mozart's music and no one else's
Sometimes it is a single line. They are the fragments
The Bursak recording is of the unaltered Otto Bach completion
of K581a, which is in A major, whatever key the aria is in...
K516c is, of course, for B flat clarinet and has been completed several
times
(at least in the UK by Duncan Druce for Alan Hacker and
Howard Wilbye at Leeds University )
Q
So what does Mark have?
