Yes, Tony, and in my humble opinion herein lies the strength of ligature
design that approaches total surface bonding of the underside of the reed
to the mouthpiece table. One can change mouthpieces in concert without
fear of having everything fall off the mouthpiece if held together by
a ligature featuring magic dimples and overhyped selling points.
