I totally agree w/Tony W. You will be able to find lots of books that
have tunes that only use 6 notes! And, there are lots of other things you
can work on....articulation, rhythms, musicality, style. Remember, the
fingers will grow...maybe just one at a time, but they'll be there.

With these students, I always encouraged the use of the R hand at each
lesson. If nothing else, you can ensure correct hand position!

Good luck. It's great to have a bright, YOUNG student.
