I am having my clarinet overhauled and my repairman (who is very good and
specializes in clarinets) is going to use Straubinger (sp?) pads. He says
those are all he uses now and they are state of the art. I have not even
seen them, but all that I ahve heard is that they are the best thing going.
I am sure there are differing opinions. I would like to hear from people who
have experience with these pads. Are these teflon pads Straubingers? I
don't think they are. Please let me know. I will play one with these pads
next week so I can see how they feel and respond. Thanks.
