Currently the way suggested by both companies is to convert to MIDI then
import into Finale/Sibelius. (This would loose all score markings etc...)
I recently contacted both companies because I was considering converting to
Sibelius but plan to do some work for a composer who is using Finale. _I_
Think they'd both be served by taking the high road and adding a plug-in to
convert from as well as _to_ the other program...... They apparently don't.
Both Finale and Sibelius will soon(?) have a converter to allow them to
import the other format but not to save-as.
Best Wishes,
Anne
