Judy, I must disagree. At no time in his career did Bellison ever play
with the NBC symphony. He was first with the NY Phil until his
retirement. In 1952, it could have been Alex Williams (who is still
alive and lives just up the street from me). There were a number of
excellent players who worked the NBC but Bellison was never one of them.
