Subj: [kl] Otitis and stronger reeds...
Date: Tue, 30 May 2000 12:13:12 -0400

I've just a question.

What's the best solution in reeds hardness if you want to develop or improv=
e
your breathing?

Someone says that you should use stronger reeds because breathing is a
"muscular" process and someone says you should use softer reeds to learn to
use as well as possible your breathing in every condition.

I don't know... I'm using strong reeds (Vandoren V12 4 with a Licostini
handmade mouthpiece) and I've some problem with my right ear: I'm running
the risk of an otitis!

Ah...
Someone has told me that when you are using a wrong breathing, you could
have 2 problems: otitis or hemorrhoids.
Is it true?

In this case... I'm so proud of my otitis!!!
