The Selmer USA Omega clarinet (not to be confused with the Selmer PARIS
Omega, which is basically a Prologue with a different case) is based upon
the Selmer USA Signet/100/103 line. The model 295 has the same bore, .577.
There is another new, smaller-bore (.573) version as well (model 293 or
296 or something). The Omega does have a more natural finish to the wood
(better wood?), silver-plated keys, an adjustable thumbrest, laser
engraving on the bell, and a nice case.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
