Because one of the MP3 sites has a copy of Stravinsky's "Three
Pieces", and because people here recommended it, I tried to purchase one
of those DAM (Digital Audio Music... I'm not cursing) discs. It turned
out that I couldn't because I wanted to mail in a check and they won't
accept checks. They only accept credit cards; and like some people, I'm
not willing to broadcast my card number all over cyberspace.
It's not necessary to give me the explanation about secure servers,
or about how clerks in brick-and-mortar retail stores save carbon
copies, etc. I'm just trying to be friendly and to give you some food
for thought. If I could've mailed in a check, this month's $35,000
would've been $35,012 because I would've purchased the Zukovsky disc as
well.
