OK, so maybe you're simply replying to Tony's post and perpetuating the "fishface" reference, but he
does make a good point. You can't expect to come onto klarinet and have the answer you need supplied
for nothing. The klarinet community are usually prepared to help out with all sorts of information
if you're prepared to do a little digging yourself. The list does not exist to stifle and discourage
people such as yourself, but there's no such thing as a free lunch. I can recommend Colin Lawson's
book as a fascinating read about one of the finest pieces of clarinet music in existence. If that's
too detailed for you, simply apply basic music theory to the piece, listen to it, follow the score
(or piano reduction) while listening. Do the movements conform to any of the basic forms? How many
themes are present in each movement etc.
PS you may find some (or many) of Tony Pay's past and future posts to this list very insightful [or
should that be inciteful, Walter ;-) ] I certainly appreciate his willingness to share his thoughts
and think it a huge benefit to have someone of his ability and experience on the list. Therefore if
I were you I wouldn't start insulting him...
PPS Mark will doubtless be able to point you in the direction of his "netiquette bot" which I have
found very useful in the past. Worthwhile reading all the stuff it sends back. (I can't remember the
address, but it will be mentioned in the klarinet archives too...)

To Tony:
Maybe "fishface" was a little strong for someone so obviously new to the list? Unless there's a
reference or in-joke which I've not got, in which case I now look really silly....
The apt-ness of the tagline on your post does suggest to me that your computer has a mind, brain,
intellect of its own. (or did you choose that one specially....?)

Cheers

Ian
