Mat, I live in New Mexico, so believe me, I feel your pain. But one
advantage to our sitch is that we rarely have to deal with moldy reeds.

To keep your reeds from warping beyond use, I suggest a proper break in
technique - it's available on my website at

This should keep your reeds nice and stable, and they may end up lasting
longer as well!
