Yeah I understand that. I also had several reeds when I had this one and I
kept comparing them too that one. When I make reeds I try to always have
more than one so that I can rotate. But I just found that piece of cane to
be really superb. Believe me if a reed does not put out the kind of sound I
like I will trash it. I got into three schools on that reed and I was just
surprised how long it lasted without warping. Especially taking it to three
different cities.
