Here is a notice about Arnold R. Brilhart from QST Amateur Radio Magazine,
December 1998, page 76:

ARNOLD R. BRILHART, K6GF, SK*

Ham radio pioneer Arnold R. Brilhart, K6GF, of Vista, California, died May
17 [1998]. He was 93. Brilhart was first licensed as 2DN in Yonkers, New York,
sometime prior to 1920. The spark signal from 2DN was heard calling 8AYN on
December 11, 1921, by Paul Godley in Scotland, and the call sign is among those
on the cover of the January 1922 QST. Brilhart was an ARRL member. His fame
extended into the area of music. He was a well-known jazz musician and had
designed mouthpieces for woodwinds.

* SK is the Morse Code letter-group that is sent at the end of a contact between
amateur stations. Arnold's passing is also noted on page 94 of the same
magazine. There it is listed under the column head "Silent Keys." Hope this
helps those who inquired about him on the list.
