"Boosey & Hawkes Wooden Clarinet - This fine wooden clarinet is truly a
quality instrument. This clarinet was made in London, England with the
finest grenadilla wood. It is a classic clarinet, but the wood has no cracks
or such in it! Minor padwork(a local music shop would do this task for you
probably for FREE!) is needed. A comparable instrument is worth well over
$1000(did you know that instruments mature with age?)... actual year of
production is unknown, however. Regardless, the clarinet is in excellent
condition and the solid grenadilla wood body produces amazing tones(very
professional sound!). This instrument is great for any student, advanced
