Take a brother or a friend (never studied music or solfeggio).
Give him a pencil and a piece of paper.

Now... play some note (not in order) on the clarinet, both loud and softly,
and for each one he/she should note the color (blue, green, red, black...)
and the vocal he hears.

This is the result of my test...

1. In the note range from C3 to C5, the vocal reported is affected by the
name of the note I think. For example: I play E4 and I think MI (the italian
note name... english phonetic ME) and the vocal reported is I (E). This
phenomenon is particularly founded with some vocal, I and O (E and open O):
E3 and 4, B5, C4 and G4.

2. The color reported follows the register subdivision:
the lower register is dark green;
the throat is gray;
from B3 to G4 is dark red;
from A4 to D5 is orange;
from E5 is yellow.
Some note has a characteristic color: closed C4 is brown.

The result depends on:
- your sound;
- your assistant;
- your instrument.

I've drawn my conclusion but I'll wait for more test results.
