(no put-down taken, either) I think that "upper harmonics" means
the higher-frequency overtones which, if they came out by themselves, we
would call them a 'squeak'; but they are not 'bad' of themselves when
they a part of a larger package and so long as they are not distorted
into a frequency that is not a multiple that can be expressed with
integers of the basic frequency. [is that a run-on sentence?] If I'm
missing an important point here, I certainly would like to hear about
it.
