Dear Bill,
Count me in.
I don't know what it will prove but I've loved the discussion.
If my teacher were to tell me 'brighter here' or 'darker might fit this passage
better' I would know what he meant. At least I would hear in my inner ear the
difference in what I was doing and was desired. Although sometimes I ask him if
he hears that buzzing (or whatever) and he tells me "it's in your head."
Literally, not 'out here.' That kind of freaks me out. But then I just remember
"I love playing this thing" and I calm down!
