Actually I'm not sure how appropriate the term is either. Valves are pretty common and on Kevin's
"other" instrument (if memory serves) you even have a slide, but surely there's only a hole at each
end? I can think of many instruments where holes feature more prominently. ...Or does this mean that
the "brasshole" is at the mouthpiece end? ;-)
