Absolutely. Buffet no longer has a strangle hold on the clarinet market.
Larry Combs plays Leblanc Opus, John Yeh plays Yamaha, I (not nearly in
the same league!) have played Yamaha for 15 years. the new Selmer
Signatures are very nice. So are Buffets. Try as much as you can get your
hands on, and buy the *instrument* that suits you best.
