I don't know about that. The late Robert Aulenbach, of Harrisburg, PA,
doubled on trumpet and bassoon! He was good enough to play for a time with
the Boston Pops and you'll never hear a better jazz lick than his
performance of "Blueberry Hill" on bassoon. (Actually, if you haven't, you
won't now.)
