Hi Leo.

May I ask some questions?

When you say the above, do you mean that the base of the 'cone' is
further back and getting narrower toward the reed?

How about really quite near the reed? Is there just one 'cone'?

Where did you get the 'French' bit in your description of your 'French
cone' technique?

Did your teacher use this description -- 'coning' -- when he or she
taught you?

If so, who was (s)he?
