My dear fellow musicians,
I am writing to inquire about playing opportunities in central
Massachusetts. I will be moving to Worcester in June and I am pining for
the tangible camraderie of other players, prefereably in the form of some
sort of group. I am distinctly an amatuer and would self-classify as some
sort of advanced beginner. I have been playing an instrument for 10 or so
years but have not been at the clarinet that consistently or that long. My
musical sensibilities are in order but my fingers aren't always there.
It's been a long dry spell in terms of finding people to play with, helped
in no small part by my nomadic tendencies in the past few years. However I
will be in Worcester for at least four years (med school) and I know I will
need some music to keep me sane. Anyone who knows where I should look to
find some comrades of the clef please drop me a line. Thanks!
