I think both the Hite's are the same just accidentally entered twice. But i
can't say for sure. The "Ox" is Oxford Press. Not sure who "Sik" is,
probably a central European publisher, judging by the price. If someone
were to say who it was, i would probably remember the name but i can think
of it right now.

I usually try to stay away from Hite editions. I believe all of his stuff
is published by Southern Music and i don't like their page size and formats.
Plus Hite tends to add alot of his preffered articulation and/or dynamic
markings. Only things of Hites i really use are his Artistic Studies,
Melodious & Progressive Studies, and his edition of the Baermann Division 3.
Those books are regular size bindings, but most of SMC's solo music is odd
sized.

I use the Oxford Press edition. I have a few other pieces published by them
and they are pretty reliable and nicely priced.

Heyas- I have a question for all you learned people out there.

Luyben lists these varied versions of the infamous Rossini:
Hite
Hite (yes, twice)
Ok
Sh

So...fill me in on who the other two are, if you could, and please tell me
which version is the closest to the original? (Or whichever is endorsed
by some Rossini organization, much like the Barenreiter is to the NMA)

Thanks for any info!
