I believe its an excellent recording, I just played the Il Convegno for a
recital last week, definitely great stuff. They both have excellent tone,
they had a real nice interpretation, although I thought that the rubato in
the first movement was a little repetitive and somewhat predictable. I
really like the full orchestra edition; we played the piece with piano
accompaniment and the pianist said the piano part was "silly" :) It is
defintely one of my favorite clarinet duets though!
