Thanks to all that responded to my question about driving.
Frankly, my two fears are:
1. Halfway in the middle of nowhere the car breaks down, and at
clarinetfest 2100 in Norman they find my bones, and
2. Halfway in the middle of nowhere I get pushed off the road by a crazed
killer and ....
I'm not wasting bandwidth, this is really my perception of desolate roads
at night.
Sorry, but since I am committed to the trip (I have $1200 gone for the
plane tix already, and am about to do the hotels, I thought I would ask.
Frankly I was surprised the airports were soooo far from the hotels. I
guess I have the urban view of things.
Actually, now that I think about it, Ostende was quite far from the
Brussels airport. But I wasn't driving the train. AND I had the GREAT
fortune of meeting F. Gerard Errante in the airport. He showed me how to
get about the train system. Who says G-d isn't watching over me!
Thanks.
Fred
