Since there seems to be a request for "standard" bass clarinet literature,
check out Renate Rusche's disc. It has pieces by Schoeck, Messiaen, and
others... It is all pretty conservative German music. Rusche has a big fat
sound and plays quite musically. It is a totally different thing than
Lowenstern's style, but it is another great bass clarinet CD
