+AD4-I have decided to play basset horn again after retiring from playing
+AD4-about 8 years ago. So I want to buy a first class narrow bored b.h.
+AD4-
+AD4-I tried Rossi directly and got a lovely answer. Luis Rossi told me that
+AD4-he does not now make a narrow bored basset horn (in fact he makes no
+AD4-basset horns) but suggested I try Stephen Fox whose work he praised.
+AD4-
+AD4-So I am, on the basis of his recommendation, going to try that. But
+AD4-first I need to know something about how to talk to Stephen Fox.
+AD4-
+AD4-
+AD4-If this is the last clarinet I am going to purchase, I want it to be a
+AD4-rosewood or cocobola wood monster so I have set my sights (and my price)
+AD4-high.
+AD4-
+AD4-So who is this Stephen Fox about whom Luis Rossi spoke so very highly?

Dan :-

Why don't you call Stephen +AEA- 905-737-7263

He has a good pedigree, and can offer endorsements
by many professionals who are playing his clarinets
and extensions

Rossi is correct to suggest him. He takes care and pride
in his work

As for pricing - with the Cdn +ACQ- being what it is, you could
afford to fly to Toronto, have the clarinets custom fitted, and
still come out ahead of what some instrument's would cost
in the Colonies

Peter Randell
