Dan,

I can't believe you're only going to buy ONE first-class, narrow-bored basset
horn! Are we to assume that you'll be sitting outside your lovely Los Altos
home with a loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and your basset horn? There must
be scores of clarinetists who could have retired years ago, but who took your
advice and bought TWO basset horns so they could get all the Mozart gigs and
are still paying off those horns. And what about all of us who would sell
their first-born to be able so sit next to you playing basset horn II in a
performance of the Gran Partitta? So tell us it isn't true, Dan. You ARE
going to by a pair, right?
