If 3rd grade in Germany is the same as here, about 8 years old, perhaps she
is just to young to be playing a high-pressure wind instrument. I've heard
a little bit about how playing an instrument with lots of back
pressure...(basically any wind instrument except flute, recorder...etc.
Anything that uses a reed or a brass mouthpiece) causes too much back
pressure in the head, which is one of the problems I've heard associated
with playing clarinet too early on in life
